Cultivating Genuine Presence and Confidence from the Inside Out

•Do you wish you could be your authentic self in all settings without guilt, worry or shame? Are you frustrated by giving your power away because you don’t speak up or ask for what you want at work, at home, or in social settings?

•Do you let opportunities for more money and authority, more equality and respect in professional or personal relationships, slip past you because you aren’t sure what you want or how to get it, or are afraid you might be ignored or rejected?

• Do you ever feel undervalued, worry you'll be misinterpreted or even criticized for your input? Do you question whether anyone is listening to what you have to say, or whether your contribution is worthy enough to add?

If you're determined to be a better leader, or role-model, if you’re tired of feeling unheard, undervalued or just plain stuck, and want to stop feeling disempowered, join us for six days of rejuvenation, mindfulness practices and confidence-building in the lush and luxurious tropical paradise of beautiful Santa Teresa, Costa Rica!

Learn How to Get What You Want

This deep-learning retreat isn’t about deciding to “fake it ‘til you make it.” This is about Cultivating Genuine Presence and Confidence from the Inside Out. It’s about increasing awareness of self and other, discovering and nurturing what’s already in you and making it more accessible (even in the presence of tension and stress), and developing a greater sense of meaning and purpose that’s actually achievable.

You’ll return home ready to put your new skills into action in all areas of your life in a supported and sustainable way. Step into any and all situations with a sense of calm, knowing you’ve nourished yourself well, and equipped yourself with new tools to be you in all of your personal power.

Spend a week with Daisy Swan, Career and Executive Coach and Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, and Stacy McCrory, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Mediator, Collaborative Coach and Peacemaker, along with a group of like-minded women accepting the opportunity to replenish, learn, and enjoy the beauty of the beaches and surrounding jungle paradise of Santa Teresa.

Begin 2020 with a new story, a new way of approaching your life and getting what you want. Be the example you’ve always strived to be and notice how others admire and respect the newfound confidence you exude.

Each day you’ll participate in a series of meditations, workshops and exercises designed to increase your connection to self, other and the environment, nurture a sense of self-compassion, and strengthen your non-judgmental muscles.

Every evening, we’ll circle up to reflect on our learnings from the day, share individual and/or collective experiences and process thoughts and feelings that inevitably arise out of increased awareness and personal growth.

To round out each day you’ll enjoy the laid-back bohemian lifestyle of Santa Teresa, with its breath-taking ocean views, pristine beaches, stunning flora and fauna, good food and friendly people.

Bonus! Follow-Up Coaching Sessions

This Empowering Retreat for Women also offers you the option to continue receiving support beyond our week in Costa Rica with regular online group coaching sessions – 6 months of them -- meeting one time per month. With this add-on option you’ll also receive one-on-one coaching sessions with Daisy to make sure you’re absorbing this new empowered way of being deep into your bones.

So join us for six days of rejuvenation, connection, community, empowerment and more, for what could be the most important week of your life.

She has blended her lifelong meditation practice, and other trainings and practices, with her knowledge of career and life transitions to create new, holistic ways for clients and class participants to see themselves, and create the life they really want.

Affiliated with UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) since 2012 as a mindfulness teacher, Daisy has taught mindfulness awareness to hundreds of students in small classes, as well as to the UCLA’s Anderson School of Management MBA students with the goal of helping them gain leadership competencies through increased emotional intelligence. Originally from NYC, Daisy became a transplant to LA in 1992 and more recently relocated to beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, working remotely with clients all over the country. She is a devoted mother to her 23-year-old-son who now enjoys his own satisfying career!

Stacy McCrory

Stacy is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in private practice in Santa Barbara, CA. She is also a Certified Divorce Mediator and Collaborative Divorce Practitioner working as a divorce coach, parent educator, co-parenting specialist and peacemaker, and serving on the board of the Santa Barbara Collaborative Practice Group. She has been assisting families in transition to improve their communication, maintain healthy boundaries and reduce conflict for the past fifteen years.

Born and raised in Southern California, Stacy began her career in 1997 with UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute, providing vocational coaching to clients as part of a clinical research study. She spent the next several years working as a dedicated public servant for Santa Barbara County, with a passion for social justice issues. Determined to affect real systemic change, she moved her way up by successfully exercising her collaborative coaching and leadership skills, ultimately providing oversight and development of multiple clinical programs across the county. Stacy also spent time in leadership for a local non-profit before opting to pursue private practice full-time and develop TwoCan Retreats.

Married for 25 years, mom, step-mom, and grandma, Stacy is a firm believer in the power of community and connectedness. She believes genuine confidence comes from embracing our innate need to belong to something greater than ourselves, while maintaining a sense of meaning and purpose — and then sharing it with others. No doubt, her family and friends would tell you she works hard and loves with all her heart.

Casa MarBella — where the jungle meets the sea.

A luxury boutique hotel, Casa MarBella offers an intimate and unforgettable experience in Playa Santa Teresa.  Perched on a hillside amidst the jungle and above the hustle and bustle of town, Casa MarBella provides panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

The hotel is essentially one grand villa with fourteen private rooms, all with ocean views, surrounding an infinity pool and Jacuzzi.  There’s a beautiful private yoga terrace, also with an ocean view.

Enjoy watching wildlife in their natural habitat without leaving the hotel. You can see howler monkeys, iguanas, and a variety of bird species inhabiting the jungle directly adjacent to the property.

Casa MarBella is centrally located and within walking distance to stores and some of the more notable restaurants in the area. Most importantly, you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes.

Casa Marbella makes a conscious effort to protect the environment by recycling, composting, collecting rain water, using biodegradable soaps and cleaners, installing energy saving light bulbs, and hiring local workers. The hotel utilizes a water softener and UV purifier, making the tap water safe to drink while reducing plastic consumption.
