Costa Rica Green Airways

Costa Rica Green Airways is a Costa Rican family-owned business committed to Costa Rica’s environmental stewardship. Through proactive education and outreach, the company is involved in a number of programs to increase environmental awareness while practicing sustainability. For example, the company collaborates with Operation Rich Coast (ORC) to organize and fund beach clean-ups. Also, for every passenger that flies with Costa Rica Green Airways the company plants a seed of an endemic tree species around Costa Rica’s Bongo and Ario rivers. The company also has established best-in-class reuse practices of aviation byproducts such as oil and parts, with the goal to be certified a carbon neutral airline by the end of 2019. Without a doubt, this company embodies “Pura Vida,” both in spirit and in action.

Safari Surf School

Safari Surf School has been a dominant presence on the Costa Rican surfing scene for 20 years. A staunch believer in maintaining a sustainability consciousness in business and in being a supportive member of the Nosara community, Safari Surf School hires and trains local surf instructors only. All Safari Surf instructors are International Surfing Association (ISA) trained and certified, and they are TwoCan Retreats’ go-to team when it comes to providing the best surf lessons for our retreats.

Pack for a Purpose

Pack for a Purpose is an international organization whose mission is to positively impact communities around the world by assisting travelers who want to take meaningful contributions to the destinations they visit. One of the many ways to contribute is to bring much-needed school supplies to local school children. On a recent surf & yoga retreat to Nosara, Costa Rica, our TwoCan group filled backpacks with school supplies and distributed them at a local elementary school. It was our way to say thank you for a wonderful time in their wonderful country.
